The Covingtons of Menifee Celebrate their 64th Wedding Anniversary!

SC and Cora Covington will celebrate 64 years  of marriage July 30th, 2010. The people of Menifee congratulate you! You are a role model for all who know you!

The couple met in February 1946 in Blytheville, Arkansas one month after SC was discharged from the Army where he fought in WWII and was awarded a Bronze Star.

Shortly after their marriage they decided to head to California to start a family. They traveled in their 1937 Olds along Route 66 to Southern California where they have resided since then.

They are the beloved leaders of a family that now includes two children, five grandchildren and nine (soon to be ten) great-grandchildren.

SC and Cora moved to Menifee twenty years ago and are very active in their Palmilla community.

Menifee residents thank this wonderful couple for being a great example for all who know them.
